There is certain issue in the logic of recovery model of SP: the recommendation is to use full recovery, as it keeps transaction log data, instead of simple. However, if you use Sharepoint backup the log never gets flushed. And so it keeps growing, until you run sql backup log command. But since you already did full db backup, the backup log file is actually not needed and can be deleted. Work of Sisyphus... The way out is to use simple mode, although it not recommended.
